Data Cleansing

If you want to scrap a laptop or PC or even pass it on to someone else in the business or give it away to charity, brokenStones can securely wipe all hard drives and remove personal data up to the US Department of Defence 5220.22-M(3 pass) Standard.  In cases where this is not possible the hard drive is physically destroyed. A certificate of destruction is provided.  Call for details.

Hardware Disposal

When IT equipment has come to the end of its life brokenStones can arrange a disposal service in accordance with the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Regulations).

When the WEEE Regulations were introduced this brought about new responsibilities for businesses and other non-household users of electrical and electronic equipment.  This includes businesses, schools, hospitals and government agencies, when they dispose of their electrical waste. Organisations need to ensure that all separately collected WEEE is treated and recycled and a certificate of disposal obtained.
