Hosting is providing and maintaining the servers that allow your website to be visible and accessible to everyone connected to the internet, and the servers that send and receive your emails.

Web hosting can be shared or dedicated.  The difference is if your website is on a shared server the websites of other businesses are also operating from this server.  For most businesses this is all that is required. A dedicated server is required when the usage of data, bandwidth and demand on server resources are such that you need your own server.  A dedicated server only hosts one businesses website or websites.

brokenStones web hosting is for customers who value their website as an important business tool and who require a high quality expert service.  We are not 'just another hosting company', we like to get involved with our customers in helping them to get more from what we offer and what the technology can provide.

We actively monitor our customers’ usage of data, bandwidth and server resources and will work with our customers to ensure these are used wisely and efficiently. If we feel a certain customer is, or has the potential to, adversely or unfairly affect other customers we will work with that customer to resolve the issues and ensure a premium service for all customers.

Dedicated Hosting

For customers who have extremely busy websites that are bandwidth and resource intensive we would recommend our dedicated server service.

brokenStones looks after the hardware and software.  You have a dedicated server or a cluster of servers just for your websites.

Domain Services

Every business needs its own domain name.  Having This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it just isn’t professional.  We can register your own domain name for as little as £10 per year.  We will also remind you when your domain name comes up for renewal and make sure you never lose it.  You can use your domain name for your website and for your email addresses.
